Ralph Waldo Emerson once explained that if you build a better mousetrap, the world will beat a path to your door. Not on the web! You may have a "better mousetrap", but if you want people to visit it, you can't sit back and wait for people to beat that path. What you do to promote it will make a real difference!
There are some very effective things you can do to let the world know about you. Follow these rules, explained in the following pages, and you will see a real increase in traffic to your web site or Forum.
- Write quality meta tags.
- Register with the major search engines.
- Announce your pages in the right places.
- Follow up regularly.
- How to Move a Page (and stay indexed by the search engines).
- Delphi Promotions: X-DELPHI Tags and Active Content.
