Specialized information is often difficult to locate using the major search engines and directories like Google, Northern Light, Fast, AltaVista, Lycos, or Yahoo. Find People and Businesses. Find email addresses or phone numbers of people and businesses.
Find Listservs and other email discussion lists.
Find Libraries using Hytelnet for telnet accessible catalogs and Hywebcat for web accessible catalogs.
Find FAQs (Frequently Asked Question files) on many subjects
Find Medical Information from the National Library of Medicine (MEDLINE from MedLib and Grateful Med).
Find biographical information from the Biography Center, the Biographical Dictionary or Biography.com. Try all sources.
